Oil on canvas by André Bertran (1929-2003) representing an enigmatic young woman. Born in 1929 in Nancy, André Bertran was a painter, watercolourist, illustrator, lithographer. He has received numerous awards (Tokyo, Stockolm, Munich, Geneva ...) and was awarded the Prix de Versailles in 1971. Painting exhibited at the Coliseum of New York, Galerie de la Place Beauvau in Paris, Galerie Alain Daune, Retrospective at the Château de Val in 1986 ... He died in 2003. Signed. Wooden frame.
