Elizabeth Gould (1804 - 1841) was a British painter and illustrator. She created several lithographs and illustrations for ornithological works, most notably in Darwin’s The Zoology of the Voyage of H.M.S Beagle. Gould was a scientific artist. She used lithography to create accurate depictions of species of birds, found in various exhibitions around Europe.
