Raouf Zarrouk (1941 - present) is a visual artist. His work was predominantly driven by the 1960s. The decade began with the artistic movements of pop and minimalism, emerging side by side. On one hand, pop captured the visual culture of the mass and mainstream media, and of consumer products. Minimalism had a formal language with no objective references, and was primarily based on color, lines, and geometric form as major components of both painting and sculpting.
