It is among the world's largest and oldest manufacturer of office and art supplies, including pencils, erasers, pens, rulers, staplers, and atelier equipment. In addition, Faber-Castell manufactures designer writing instruments and high-end luxury leather products. The company remains headquartered in Stein, runs 14 factories, and employs approximately 7000 staff members in over 100 countries. They produce around 2 billion pencils in more than 120 colors annually.
